And I am completely and utterly convinced that, were Harry and Luna ever to get married, this is precisely how they would send out wedding invitations.

Prompt-Leaving Post!

This is the post where you can leave your Harry/Luna prompts. This post will stay open from July 8th until July 29th August 1st.

A few things to keep in mind:
1. You do not need to claim a prompt in order to leave one, and vice versa.
2. Prompts can be detailed or specific, but please stay away from the extremes (i.e. "Prompt: love" or "I want a fic where Harry and Luna go skydiving, and Harry is afraid of heights, and then his parachute doesn't open and they crash, and Luna has to heal his broken leg and then they make out and have a baby and name her Rosalind Moonchild Lovegood-Potter."). Understand that if you include too many details, it might limit your chances of someone claiming your prompt.
3. Remember that your prompt might be chosen by an author, artist, or fanmixer.
4. You may leave as many prompts as you'd like. Feel free to come back later if you think of more!

Fest Schedule 2010

Tentative Schedule
Prompt Post: Open July 8th - August 1st
At this post, you may leave prompts for fic, art, fanmixes, and more. You may leave as many prompts as you want, whether you intend to claim one yourself or not.

Claiming Post: Open August 2nd until November 30th
At this post, all prompts will be listed and you may claim prompts for yourself. Participants are limited to two prompts at a time until they have completed and posted their previous prompts. There is no limit to how many people may claim the same prompt.

Posting: August 3rd until November 30th
On August 1st, I will give all members of the community posting access. Posting will be moderated, and submissions will be approved by me. I will only approve posts submitting fulfilled prompts. All other posts will be rejected.

I do not know when I will lock the community again, but I foresee leaving it open to new posts until shortly before the next round of the exchange.


I will be posting header templates and more specific posting guidelines when the claiming post goes up. In the meantime, if you have any questions, let me know! You can leave a comment to this post or email me directly at radishlovemod@gmail.com. The prompt post will go up tomorrow, so start thinking of ideas!

Prompt fest?

Hey, everyone. I apologize that the tentative schedule of holding sign-ups in June didn't quite come to fruition. I really hope this didn't affect anyone's plans. ♥ The thing is, I would love to hold another round, but unfortunately I do not have the time to hold an exchange at this point. Arranging assignments requires more time and energy than I have right now, and I'm afraid the exchange wouldn't be up to par.

But! Like all of you, I still want to see more Harry/Luna in this fandom, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in participating a prompt round to hold us over for a few months? Everyone could leave fic and art prompts, and then anyone could sign up to write them. I would give everyone posting access for a couple of months so that you could post your fic, art, fanmixes, whatever. Then maybe we could hold another exchange round a few months down the road. :)

Tentative plan: I'll post the new prompt fest guidelines this week, and open the prompt collection post. I'll leave it open for a couple of weeks, maybe through the end of July, and then open the prompts for taking in late July or early August.

Sound good? If anyone has any other suggestions, let me know!

Round two?

Hi, everyone!

I was thinking about doing another round of this fest sometime this summer, and I wanted to see who would be interested in participating. I'm thinking of holding sign-ups sometime in early June, with assignments going out by late June and posting starting in late August or early September. I'd like to have the fest finished up by late September.

I would also like to keep this fest smaller this year, with a limit of 20 people.

How does all of that sound? Is anyone interested in another round? Suggestions are very welcome. You can reply to this post or email me at radishlovemod@gmail.com.
